Vada was born in Hillsboro, KS and was one of eight children. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Vickie Jo Ericksen and Amy Jo Ann Lilja. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Galen Lilja; her son, Brad Lilja of Ft Wayne, IN; daughter, Janice Lilja VanHorn (Alan) of Pell City. She was the proud grandmother of five, Jason Ericksen of Anchorage AK, Jessika Ericksen of Bowling Green KY, Dustin Lilja (Melissa) of Evansville IN, Jared Leverett (Amber) of Jacksonville FL, Chad Leverett (Melissa) of Pelham AL. Her great-grands were her pride and joy; Talon Lilja, Adyson and Braylyn Leverett, Will Leverett. Vada was a hard worker and gave 25 years to Kmart as a loyal employee. She enjoyed reading but most of all looked forward to visits from her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. Vada will be so missed by her family.
