Ursula ‘Lena’ Korostinsky
Ursula “Lena” Korostinsky, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Twp.
Born: in Steel City, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and Santa Savini Medei.
Personal: She was the wife of the late Louis Korostinsky, a retired Bethlehem city police officer, who died in 1983.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and was an avid gardener.
Memberships: Ursula was a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bethlehem, and its ladies auxiliary.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Cynthia Fertal and her husband Dennis, and Denise Stangl and her husband Jeffrey all of Bethlehem; brother, Tony Medei of Bethlehem Twp; sister, Rose Kantor of New Port Richie, FL; grandchildren, Kim, Dennis, Jr., Jay, Marnie, Alex; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Alisha, Marcus, Bella, Madison and Caiden.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Louis in 2006, and brothers, Naz and Emery Medei.
