Unive Moss Young, age 99, of Dalton, Georgia passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Unive devoted her life to her Lord and family. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially holiday meals. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher Moss and Antha Thomas Powell; husband, Rev. Earnest Young; sons, Raymond and Teddie Young; sisters, Gladys Sampson and Kathryn Roberts; brothers, Herbert Moss, Ralph, Claude, Grady, Paul, Vernon and James Powell. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Queen; son and daughter in law, Fletcher and Velma Young; daughter in law, Dianne Young; sister in laws Ruth Young of Chatsworth and Charlene Powell of Talking Rock; brother in law and sister in law, Rev. Donald and Eva Mae Young of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Tina (Joe) Keith, Sonja (Charles) Nicholson, Kevin (April) Young, Tammy (Rob) Smith, Kelly (Misty) Young, Cynthia (Jeff) Shuler and Brittney Byers; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to thank Hamilton Hospice for their care and kindness during the past month.
