There are no words to express my feelings of having to say Goodbye to my soul mate, my best friend, my husband. I am brokenhearted to let our family and friends know that Sam has passed away.

I could write millions of words of what Sam meant to me and about the man he was.  For those of you who knew Sam, he had a smile that could light up a dark cave better than any light, a hug that made you feel peace and melted your worries away. Sam was always ready for an adventure. He loved the mountains and was always ready to go camping. He loved to hang by the river and fish.  Sam would greet you with a hi, that smile on his face and a beer in his hand.

To me Sam was my everything. We have known each other since we were in our teens.  We of course grew our separate ways, but when two people are soul mates they find themselves back to one another. Sam and I found each other again and it was as if we were complete. We loved each deeply, faults and all. Sam was my world, my love and I will miss him immensely.  The pain of him being gone is indescribable. However, he would not want me or anyone to mourn his death, but celebrate the amazing man he was and the wonderful memories we have of him.

Sam I love you more than anything and here is to your next adventure my love.
