Tyler J. Steen, 21, of Simsbury, passed away after a tragic accident, on Monday, December 14, 2009, in Savannah, GA.
Tyler was born May 3, 1988 in Hartford. He had attended Ridgefield High School for his first two years and then attended Simsbury High School for his last two years, graduating with the Class of 2006. Tyler was currently a student in his junior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design and had been an accomplished artist studying Industrial Design. He was an entrepreneur and hard working, having had many part time jobs throughout high school and college. He was a Boy Scout and also an avid Yankee Baseball Team fan.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Tina (Fecteau) Steen of Simsbury; his brothers, Ryan Steen of Providence, RI and Corey Steen of Simsbury; his grandparents, William and Lucille Steen of Venice, FL and Bernard Fecteau of FL; numerous beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Rose Mary Fecteau.
