Tyler Eugene Dant, age 27, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at his residence on Monday, July 23, 2018. Tyler was born on October 9, 1990 in Tallahassee, Florida to Darrin E. Dant and Wendy L. (Thompson) Dion.
Tyler enjoyed racing, playing music, was a member of the Bloomington Auto Club, and he loved his job as Assistant Parts Manager at Curry Auto Center in Bloomington. He graduated from Bloomington High School North in 2009, then served in the United States Army.
Tyler is survived by his daughter, Evalynn F. Dant, father, Darrin E. Dant (Tonya L.), mother, Wendy L. Dion, brother, Wyatt B. Dant, paternal grandmother, Carolyn S. Dant, maternal grandparents, Tommie M. and Barbara L. Thompson, uncle, Darrell Thompson, and cousin, Jordan E. Thompson.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald E. Dant and aunt, Pamela K. Thompson.
