Twila Fielding Beasley, 95 of Rupert passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls.
She was born April 20, 1922 in Jameston, Idaho to Nephi and Lillie Fielding.
On June 14, 1949 she married the special love of her life Claude Wallace (Bud) Beasley, son of Claude and Bertha Wallace Beasley of Springfield, Idaho. Bud and Twila began their life together in Shelley, Idaho. Bud milked cows and farmed. Twila was the book keeper for Boise Payette Lumber Company. A short time later they moved to Woodville, Idaho and farmed for Twila’s father Nephi. They lived in Woodville about eight years.
Bud and Twila drew a farm in 1957 in the Minidoka Project in Rupert, Idaho. The farm, 140 Acres, of unirrigated land was in sage brush and had to be broken out for farming. They continued farming and milking cows until retiring in November 1995.
Bud and Twila were blessed in 1960, when they adopted a boy, Russell age 5 years old and a girl Kathi 2 years old. Later in life they enjoyed traveling, biking, camping and special occasions.
