Tuwannia Lynn Albea earned her wings on October 28, 2022.  She was born on June 19, 1962, in High Point, North Carolina to the now late Nannie Bell Weeks Albea and William Thompson.

Tuwannia graduated from High Point Central High School, class of 1980.  She was in various clubs at Central with a focus on the EXOLO Club and Clete Club.  She also helped manage different sports.  Tuwannia was employed by Leggett and Platt and a faithful manager (Dietician) for several nursing facilities.  She was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and would attend every Sunday until her health declined.  She was a loving mother of two.

In addition to her parents, the love of her life, Andre’ Kinsler; and a brother, Derek Quinn Albea preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, DeVon Kinsler and son, DeWan Kinsler both of High Point; one grandchild, Jayeir Kinsler; sister, Crystal Henderson (Lee) of Greensboro; a host of sister and brothers on her father’s side and she also had a host of nieces, nephews and God children.  Tuwanna also leaves behind to cherish fond memories her best friends, Cameron Johnson, Endris Galloway, Donna Turner, Bridgett Thompson, Shirley Miller, Melmar Ford and Willie C. Davis (deceased) along with other relatives and friends.
