Trudy Greene Hunt, 73, passed peacefully Wednesday, November 30th at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
Trudy was born in Salisbury and attended Boyden High. She was always the loudest and proudest mom/maw maw at every event or baseball game. She loved gabbing it up with anyone she met almost as much as she loved the Miami Dolphins. She retired from Rack Room Shoes but was also a CNA and assistant Teacher in the community. She was a proud member of a pool league APA and enjoyed the competition. She loved her family especially her Children Michael K Hunt(Lisa) of Raleigh NC and David T Hunt(Heather) of Salisbury NC and grandson Harrison Hunt.
She was the youngest daughter of the late George Thomas Greene and Ellen Ferrell Greene of Salisbury, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Wayne Hunt and her sister Rhonda Greene Waller.
She was a loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Bennett Waller(Jenny) of Greensboro, NC and Ashley Holm(John) of Richardson, TX , Stephen Lakey(Thoy) of Lexington, Mistie Greene(Jerry) of Salisbury, George “Rusty” Lakey of Salisbury, Dale Lakey(Sandra) of Salisbury, Wanda Amplo(Joseph) of Lexington, Sonia Gibbs(Robby Tardell) of Advance, James W “Duke” Hunt(Rhonda) of Salisbury, Eric Carter of Salisbury, and many great niece and nephews.
