Gertrude (Trudy) Mystrom, passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on Sunday morning, May 17, 2015. Gertrude was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & a wonderful friend to those who knew her. She was a strong woman of faith and her kindness and generosity always brought out the best of everyone around her. She is survived by her 4 children, Peter M. Adams, Lisa M. Jarrel, Christopher W. Adams & Catherine (Kitty) Delatorre ; Plus, her 5 step-children, Kim Mystrom Walker, Kerry Mystrom, Kelly Mystrom, Ken Mystrom & Kevin Mystrom, 16-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren. Gertrude was the only child born and raised in Santa Monica, CA., before moving to Tucson, Az., in 1951 to go to school. There she met her 1st husband William E. Adams. Later in life she moved to Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ., where she met & married Charles O. Mystrom in 1974 & remarried again in 1980 in Scottsdale at OLPH. Gertrude will be missed by all of those who have been blessed to know her. Gertrude’s list of friends and colleagues grew through her involvement, especially in the Choir, where she sang for over 40 years at both St.
