Troy Wayne Steward, 60, of Ewing, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Maysville on May 28, 1962, he was the son of the late Edward Steward and the late Eula Jones Steward.
Troy worked for 20 years at Hansen Aggregate. He worked seven years as a heavy equipment operator for Carmeuse. He had a love for American muscle cars and basketball, especially the Louisville Cardinals and the Georgetown Tigers. He loved to be with his family and friends. He was a member of the Nepton Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife of 28 years, Krista Lofton Steward; his son, Troy Wayne (Kylee) Steward II; and his daughter, Tori Steward. He is also survived by his three sisters, Rita Steward, Jennifer Steward, and Jeanette Jones; his aunts, Joyce Grandison; his father-in-law, Arthur Lofton; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey, Rodney, Eddie, and Stacy Steward; his aunt, Peggy Grandison; his great aunt, Elizabeth Tibbs; and his mother-in-law, Julia Graham Lofton.
