It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Troy Schweitzer on Friday, February 4, 2022.
Troy was born on July 23, 1970, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Nicklous and Marcia Schweitzer of Huntertown.
Troy was a 1989 graduate of Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, IN.
Troy was Vice President of Fruition Industries located in Rome City, IN.
Anyone who knew Troy was touched by his kindness, mild temperament, and most importantly his humor. Troy was an amazing leader in his career and with his family and friends through his optimism. He was also much more than that, he was a husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Troy enjoyed spending time with his family and telling the most amazing stories! Troy also enjoyed coaching Tyler’s baseball team, hunting, and fishing.
In 1993, Troy met Aimee (LaLonde) and they were married in 1996. Troy and Aimee have three beautiful children, Lauryn, Miah, and Tyler.
Troy is survived by his wife, Aimee; his children, Lauryn, Miah, and Tyler; father, Nicklous Schweitzer; stepmother, Kathleen (Baranowski); brother, Todd (Kelly Williams) Schweitzer; stepbrother, Jeff Baranowski (Bonnie); brother-in-law, Sean LaLonde (Monica Korte); brother-in-law, Zak LaLonde (Jacqueline Thomas); nieces and nephews, Adam (Brittany), Austin (Alexa), Cody, Elizabeth, William, Patrick, and Alex.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Schweitzer.
