Kevin was born in Worcester, a son of Troy Jack McElreath of Westborough and the late Margaret Mary (Beaumont) McElreath. He grew up in Uxbridge and had lived in Upton for 23 years before recently moving to Whitinsville.
In addition to his wife and father, he leaves two sons, Troy Daniel McElreath of Onekama, MI, and Tyler McElreath of Upton; a daughter, Megan McElreath of Upton; a brother, Tim McElreath of NY; a sister Amy McElreath of TX; half-brother Stephan McElreath of NY; half-sister Marti McElreath of CA; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also the brother of the late Beth McElreath.
