Trisha Lee Cole, 46, of Holland Patent, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2012.

She was born on October 24, 1965, in Rome, NY, the beloved daughter of William I. and Nita Wells Cole. She was a 1984 graduate of Holland Patent Central School.

Trisha had a very warm and loving personality. More than anything, Trisha enjoyed spending time with her family. She could always be counted on to ride “shotgun” for her mother, or Aunt Beth, on many road-trips and adventures. Trisha spent much of her life as a dependable babysitter, beginning with the neighborhood children while in her teens. She then devoted many years caring for her special cousins Kevin and Jennifer, during which many happy memories were made. More recently, Trisha could usually be found watching, or just “hanging out” and having fun with her nieces, “Petie” and “Sissy”, and her nephews, “Booey” and “Nico”. Her sense of humor and easy laughter will be dearly missed, as Aunt Trisha was very involved in their lives. Trisha shared a very special bond with her sister, Jody, and seeing them together brought much joy to the entire family.

In addition to her parents, Trisha is survived by her sister Jody Wood-Morgan and her husband Charles, of Gettysburg, PA; her two brothers and their families: Troy and Rebecca Cole, and their children Peyton and Chase, Thomas and Lonna Cole, and their children Cierra and Dominic; her special aunt, Beth and her husband James Cieslewitz, and dear cousins Jennifer and Kevin; her best friends Jean Barnhardt and Wendy Potter, with whom she shared many good times; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her dog, Rocky, who she loved very much.
