Trieste Severini, 96, longtime resident of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Reno Severini. Mrs. Severini was born in Ridgefield, CT on November 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Gottardo and Rosa (Vergoni) Carboni. She was a graduate of Ridgefield High School and married Reno in May of 1949.
Mrs. Severini was a retired Bank Executive of Union Trust Bank, Ridgefield. She was a member of St.
Lovingly known by her family and friends as “Te Te” she is survived by her many nieces, nephews, their spouses and their children. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and siblings, Elda (Carboni) Nappi, Fausto Carboni and Deno Carboni. The family would like to give thanks to Matilda Damptey who looked after Aunt Te for several years with loving care. They became the closest of friends during that time.
