Treva “Jane” Ringler, age 86, of Bailey Lakes, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 8, 1934 in Ashland County, the daughter of the late Willian McKinley and Bessie Bell (Forbes) McClintock. Jane was a 1952 graduate of Savannah High School and later received her certification as a Licensed Medical Technologist from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Jane had been a Lab Technician for over 20 years. She was a member of the Ruggles Church where she enjoyed playing the piano and had played for several churches. Jane was an exceptional vocalist and musician throughout her life, playing several instruments and giving piano lessons over the years. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and watching/ feeding birds. Jane’s greatest love was for the Lord and then her family.
On January 15, 1955 Jane married Thomas “Tom” Stephen Ringler who preceded her in death in 2016. Other survivors include her children, Bessann (Brad) Carr, Tom (Judy) Ringler, Mark (Becky) Ringler, Laura (Kenny) Bise, and Ann (Phil) DePriest; her grandchildren, Justin (Molly) Ringler, Aaron (Leia) Ringler, Jackson Bise, Joe (Laura) Ringler, Sam Bise, Phillip (Britnee) DePriest, Ashley Carr, Leah (Steven) Hricko, Garrett (Stephanie) Ringler, Lauren (Mark) Strickland, Kayleigh (Justin) Rodig, Noah (Breanne) DePriest, Matt (Liz) Carr, Hannah (Kyle) Barnaba, Allie (CJ) Branham, Jonathan Ringler, Seth Ringler, and Tiffany Ringler; her great grandchildren, Leo Ringler, Carson Ringler, Grace Ringler, Chloe Ringler, Steven Ringler, Emma Bise, Daniel DePriest, Oliver Rodig, Evelynn Hricko, Ellie Bise, Galen Ringler, Lyla DePriest, Sophia Ringler, Luke Hricko, Natalee DePriest, Simon Barnaba, Ezra Carr, William Barnaba, Theo Barnaba, Amelia Carr, Isaiah Strickland, Karece Strickland, Jude Carr, Ella Jane Branham, Charlie Hricko, Paul Hricko, Olivia DePriest, and Ace Ringler; her sister’s in-law, Jackie McClintock and Willa Rapstine; along with several nieces and nephews including her special nephew, Donald “Bub” Rapstine.
In addition to her parents and husband Tom, Jane was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Christianna Ringler and Luke Ringler; brothers, Harold McClintock and Gerald McClintock; along with her sister, Lenore Young.
