Tressie Eva Williams Fletcher, 87, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA died on Saturday, November 04, 2017 at her residence. Tressie was born September 29, 1930 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Paul and Gladys Williams.
Survivors are her daughter Patrice (Hank) Humphrey; son, Jeff (Michelle) Fletcher; grandchildren, Fletcher, Corley, Brynna, and Sarah Beth Humphrey; sister, Joyce (Sonny) Hegwood; sisters-in law, Louise and Robbie Fletcher; brothers-in-law, Ronald and Harold Pierce; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In during her adult life, Tressie worked for several organizations including Olan Mills, Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe High School, and TVA, but she always felt her calling was that of a loving wife to her childhood sweetheart and devoted mother/grandmother to her beloved children and grandchildren. She was a selfless servant, gifted teacher, and avid reader.
