Mrs Tressie Beatrice Bryant, a native of Benice, LA and a resident of San Diego for over 60 years passed away at her residence on June 21, 2015. She was employed at Hartsfield Department Store for more than 20 years.

Tressie B. Gulley Bryant was called home to receive her reward on Sunday, June 21, 2015 after a long illness. She was born on October 27, 1929 in Bernice, Louisiana to the late Will and Arkey Gulley. She received Christ in her life at an early age in Bernice, where she also received her formal education. She later, enrolled at the Southern University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

While in college, during the early 1950s, Tressie met and married the love of her life, Mr. Grover Harris Bryant of the United States Army. Shortly afterwards, Tressie joined Grover in San Diego, California, where he was stationed. Grover preceded her in death on October 23, 2005.

Shortly after her arrival to San Diego, Tressie joined Mt.

Tressie was a very loving, caring and God fearing Christian woman. She adored her many nieces and nephews. She knew she was truly blessed through the love she received from her wonderful niece, Margie Fields who took care of her for more than forty years. Tressie left this message for Margie, “My Dear Margie, l told you I was going to get better and I did. I told you I would never leave you, and I tried to stay as long as I could, but it was not mine to promise; for my Father has summoned me home and I must go.

She leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, the Mt.
