Tresa R. Shellenbarger, 48, passed away June 19, 2013, in IU Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born on September 11, 1964, to the late William and Linda (Long) Keever. She graduated from Eastbrook High School with the class of 1983 and earned her License for Practical Nursing from Ivy Tech in 2005. A life-long resident of Grant County, she worked at Wesleyan Health and Rehab, Marion, as a LPN. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene, Marion, and enjoyed playing the piano, fishing, reading, walking, and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include her husband Brian Shellenbarger, Jonesboro; her mother and step-father, Linda and Paul McCormick; two sons, Curtis (Renee) Hazelwood, Marion, and Peyton Shellenbarger, Jonesboro; a daughter, Heather (Keith) Miller, Marion; a brother, Gregory (Elaine) Keever, Colorado Springs; aunts, Elaine (Allen) Dixon, Farrville, Nancy Harlan, Fairmount, Judy (Larry) Winters, Marion; Ruth (Bob) Angell, Marion; Great Aunt, Betty Rorvill, Piqua, Ohio; Uncles, John (Pat) Long, Marion, William (Sharon) Long, Fairmount; step-children, Brandon Reed, Portland, Oregon, Amanda Shellenbarger, Marion; a brother-in-law, Pat Shellenbarger, Marion; five grandchildren; and cousins by the dozens.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunt Sandra Berry, maternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Long, and paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Elma Keever.
