Travis Richard Cressman of St. Johns, MI died suddenly on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 38. Travis was the son of Richard and Karen Cressman. He was a 2004 graduate of St. Johns High School and he graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.Travis loved classic cars, especially F-body Camaros, hunting, fishing, billiards, and laughing with friends and family. His infectious laugh could be heard for miles. The St. Ignace car show was a yearly highlight for Travis and his close friends.Travis was a member of Pilgrim Church in St. Johns. Travis’ relationship with Jesus was evident in how he loved on people and was always lending a helping hand without hesitation. Travis was very excited about the small business, Studio Glazed, he and his partner Brandy started in St. Johns. He was proud of and encouraged Brandy to go after her dreams. He was her biggest supporter in this endeavor. Travis loved the pursuit of negotiations and spent the majority of his career in sales, with his most recent employment with Victory Heating and Cooling in St. Johns.Travis is survived by his loving partner, Brandy Martinez, his mother, Karen Cressman (Casteel); brother, Ryan (Sarah) Cressman; sister, Amanda Cressman; niece, Morgan (Will) McSweeney; nephews, Corrington Cressman and Wesley Cressman; great niece, Sutton McSweeney, Adrian Martinez, Madilynn Martinez and her fiancé, Tyler Wilson and son Jackson Wilson. Travis was preceded in death by his father Richard Cressman, grandparents Almond and Dorothy Cressman Wayne and Lucile Casteel.
