Travis Michael Duncan,66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital surrounded by his family. Travis is predeceased by his parents, Howard and Essie Mae Duncan and a brother-in-law Rob Robbins. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Tina Duncan; sons, Bryan (Ashley) Duncan, Mike (Astra) Duncan, Matt (Chastity) Duncan; grandchildren, Daylah, Josh, Taylor, Olivia, Lily; brother, Rick (Aundrea) Duncan; sisters, Carol (Edgar) Reese, Lucy Robbins and Tony Wilbanks and Jill (Steve) Welch, a host of nieces and nephews; beloved dog Sissy and a grand dog Smokey. Travis worked for Georgia Power at Plant Yates where he retired after 42 years of service in September of 2016. Travis was of the Baptist faith and was an avid fisherman. He loved spending his days at the river with many friends and family members. One of his greatest accomplishments was catching a 43 pound catfish. Travis had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed.
