“T” was a well-known bartender at Zimmy’s Tavern near Union and Double D’s in Goshen, always recognizable by his trademark ear-to-ear grin and ability to light up a room merely with his outgoing and fun-loving presence. He was an avid sports enthusiast and was chosen to travel to Europe with other area wrestlers on a good-will trip while he attended Elkhart Central High School. Besides wrestling, he loved football, track & field and coaching his son in little league. He was also an accomplished league bowler and belonged to the “700 Club” at Country Club Lanes. “T” had a huge heart that never knew a stranger, and he would always be the first to organize a benefit for someone in need. He loved riding his motorcycle, watching his beloved Cubbies, and spending time with his family and son.
