Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Collums McCammon and brother, James McCammon.
He is survived by sons, Travis Lee McCammon and Melvin LeRoy Winters, both of Vicksburg; brothers, Alvis McCammon of Houston, MS and Bob McCammon, Linnis McCammon, Danny McCammon, and Jimmy McCammon, all of Vicksburg; sisters, Betty McDuff of Valley Park, MS, Darlene McCammon of Okolona, MS and Vernie McCammon and Melissa Bradberry, both of Houston, MS; and two grandsons.
