Traves Lee Hopkins was called home November 15, 2008.  Traves was born March 17, 1973 to Vicki Rae Hopkins and Joe Prince in Boise, Idaho.

Traves loved the outdoors of Idaho.  He spent much of his time fishing on the BoiseRiverwith family and friends.  He also enjoyed camping and hunting.  Not only did he love the outdoors, he enjoyed the quality time he spent with his wife and children.  Even though these activities became less over the last few years, he cherished every moment he had.  He lived his life to the fullest, not letting anything pass him up.

Traves spent his life doing the things he loved.  For everyone whom knew him, he was always up front and honest, stubborn, and persistent.  He always said, “Never hold anything back, say what you mean, and mean what you say!”

Traves leaves behind many friends and family.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Traves is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Kelsey; son, Jacob; uncles, Chuck and Steve; aunts, Juanetta and Tish; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Hopkins; sister, Angie Zephir; and niece, Laura Kuck.

A special thanks to the doctors and staff at St. Alphonsus Cancer Care Center.
