Tory David Jones, age 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away July 17, 2022 unexpectedly in Omaha.
Tory was born on April 24, 1988 in Columbus to Mark and Tammy (Johansen) Jones. He was baptized and confirmed at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Swede Home. He attended and graduated from Osceola High School in 2006 and from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2011.
Tory moved to Omaha after college where he was employed by Bank of the West as a fraud investigator. He also worked part-time at Burrito Envy. He enjoyed his dog Benny, camping, kayaking and he especially enjoyed time with his nephews whom he dearly loved. Tory had a heart of gold and was friends with everyone he met. He was also involved with the Florence Theater for several years, participating and acting in melodramas.
Survivors include his parents Mark and Tammy Jones of Osceola; sister Talia (Carson) Frank of Omaha; brother Tyler (Emily) Jones of Charlotte, NC; his three nephews Quaid and Roane Frank and Bohman Jones; grandparents Duane and Carol Jones of Osceola; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Tory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Marjorie Johansen.
