Mr. Tony Octave Fooshee, 63, of Douglasville, GA passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. He was born August 14, 1957 in Amory, Mississippi to the late Scott Octave Fooshee and Doris Flippo Fooshee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Brady Joseph Fooshee. Tony grew up in Amory, Mississippi and was a 1975 graduate of Amory High School where he excelled on the football field as quarterback for the Panthers. After high school, he joined The U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in the Philippines and Tacoma, Washington. Following his military service, he moved back to Amory for a short period of time before settling down in the suburbs of Atlanta in 1985 and beginning his career in the road construction field, where he excelled until his death.
