Tony Fernandez,89, formerly of Lamberts Run died on January 18, 2010 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. He was born July 4, 1920 in Clarksburg, the son of the late Atanasio and Maria Alvarez Fernandez. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Frank, and Joe; one sister, Rita; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Fernandez. He is survived by a brother, Faust and wife Roxie Fernandez of New Jersey; nieces, Mary Jo Crites, Spartanburg, SC, Doris Secreto, Clarksburg, Sandra Lefever, Shinnston, Liz Crystal and Patricia Egan, New Jersey.
