Mr. Tony was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Teresa Griffin on January 6, 1979, to this union three boys were born.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Smith, a sister, Ann Smith, and a brother Eddie Smith.
He answered God’s call to his eternal rest on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:30pm at home surrounded by love ones and close friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa D. Smith; three sons, Demetrius (Tiffany) Griffin, Deltric (La’Toyia) Smith, and Tony Smith, Jr.; three sisters, Judy F. Pope, Mary J. (Carson) Taylor, and Neva J. Smith; two brothers, Edward Smith and Thurman Johnson; eight grandchildren, his best friend Precious (dog) and a host of other relatives and friends.
