Thomas Raeford Watkins, 53, of Concord, was called home to Heaven on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, after a brief illness.
Tommy was born January 12, 1969, in Cabarrus County. He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Watkins and Pauline Helms Watkins.
Tommy enjoyed working with the people at National Peening in Statesville. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and his kind and caring personality. Tommy will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Survivors include sisters, Frances Turner and Carolyn (Gary) Jordan; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; several great nieces and nephews; 1 great-niece; and numerous cousins.
