Tommy V. Longley, 48, of Jacksonville, IL died Friday, May 19, 2017, at a friend’s residence in Jacksonville.
He was born September 7, 1968 in Jacksonville, the son of Theodore Edward and Mary Lou Stewart Longley.
He is survived by two children, Jessica Shaw and Christopher Longley, both of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Damien Prichard and Maizee Miller; three siblings, Timothy Longley of Jacksonville, Tamara Norwood of Jacksonville, and Toby Longley (wife, Sharon) of Concord; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.
Tommy enjoyed attending local dirt track racing events and watching NASCAR racing on TV. He was also a football fan, especially for his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders.
