A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a Business Owner in the Petroleum Industry and a member of the Baptist Faith. Mac was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in the elite China Marine Group, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was very fun loving and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cornelius McClelland Sr. and Sadie Darling Bennett McClelland; son, Gregory Seth McClelland; brother, Robert Cornelius McClelland II and wife Corene; and brother in law, Frank Boone. Survivors include his loving wife of 67 wonderful years, Charlotte Krippendorff McClelland; daughter, Marilyn McClelland Thorpe, PhD and Russell Treadway; three sons, Gavin Patrick McClelland and wife Verna, Tommy Bennett McClelland Jr. PhD and wife Rhonda, Dwayne Nealy McClelland and wife Karen; two daughters in law, Maureen McClelland Carpenter, Lynda McClelland; ten grandchildren, Marlo, Ryan, Kate, Caitlin, Kevin, Kyle, Colleen, Jonathan, Caroline, and Emily, four great grandchildren, Duncan, Arianna, Vivian, and Gabby; sister, Sadie Ann McClelland Boone.
