Tommie Louis Wilson was born on August 11, 1934 to the parentage of the late Earnest Wilson and the late Bertha Wilson in Childersburg, Alabama.
At an early age, Tommie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with New Hope Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. Tommie, was a faithful member, served on the Trustee Board, and drove the church bus for ten plus years.
Along Tommie’s life’s journey, he met and united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Willie Bell Bosewell, to this union one son, Michael was born. Tommie was a dedicated employee with Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama for thirty two years and he volunteered for five plus years.
Tommie departed this walk of life on July 1, 2021 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Bertha Wilson and other relatives and close friends.
His love and precious memories will forever be remembered by his loving wife of 50 years, Willie Bell Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; two sons, Michael (Elisa) Wilson and Tommie L. Wilson, Jr. both of Sylacauga, AL; one sister, Mary Frances Walker of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren, Briana (Terrance) Hood, Shamyiah Wilson, Brittney McKinney, Donovan (Jakira) Wallace, Shonkela Cook, Jasmine (Orlando) Daniels, Lisa Wilson, Lorraine Wilson, and Walter Wilson; great grandchildren, Durward (Little Man) McGhee, Jr., Aaliyah Wilson, Donovan L. Wallace, Jr., JaZ’aria Wallace, Jacaden Daniels, and Landen Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
