Tommie “Tom” Clark passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2021, at the age of 83. He was born in Arkansas on October 24, 1938 to Vernessia Taylor (Harrold) who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his Uncle Willie and Uncle James.
Surviving Tom are his wife of 42 years Lori; daughter Tiffany (Jeff) Wright; grandchildren Nyah, Ella, Micah and Malia along with many cousins and close family friends.
Tom grew up on the South Side of Chicago and later moved making West Michigan his home. He spent his entire career in the bussing industry from his days as a bus driver to his role as a safety director. He just loved being around busses. Tom also had a love of computers, camping and was said to have “never met a stranger” as he knew and embraced everyone. His laughter was contagious to those around him and he’s fondly remembered with the way he would always say “Top of the morning” to people. Cremation has taken place. The family will privately be scattering his ashes in Lake Michigan at a later time.
