Ardmoreite, Charles Thomas ‘Tom’ Hamm died January 25, 2015 at an Atlanta, Georgia assisted living center. Tom was born to the late Charles W. Hamm and Theil Connor Hamm June 21, 1930 at Amarillo, Texas.
Tom grew up in Texas and in Corpus Christi was a graduate of Corpus Christi College-Academy in 1948. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Tulane University in 1952 and moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma that year. For many years he was the manager of the family owned Ardmore Credit Bureau.
He and the former Catherine F. Crane were married January 11, 1964 at Ardmore. Catherine preceded him in death March 3, 1997.
A member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tom had also attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He had served as treasurer of the Ardmore Kiwanis Club for many years, was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Thomas ‘Bob’ Hamm and Michael Charles ‘Mike’ Hamm; a grandson, Kyle Thomas Hamm and granddaughter, Natalie Jean Hamm.
