Tom C. Doss, age 71, a longtime resident of Boerne, passed at his home on Friday, January 13, 2006. Born in McCamey, Texas, on March 6, 1934, he was the son of Bert and Fay Christian Doss. A member of the Boerne Church of Christ, he was also a member of various shooting clubs. Tom had retired from Southwest Research Institute after 25 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Doss is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred Crawford Doss; Sons, Steve Doss and his wife, Jennifer, David Doss and his wife, Sarah, and Samuel Doss; Grandchildren, Steven Doss and his wife, Misty, Sarah Henderson and her husband, Jeff, Stuart Doss and his wife, Clarissa, Jacob Doss, and his wife, Jessica, Julie Kuhn and her husband, Peter, and Travis Doss; Four Great Grandchildren; Sister, Coleen Crane.
