He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1964; his military rank was Store Keeper 1st Class. Todd was employed with Fair Lanes of Glen Burnie, Bowl America of Glen Burnie, Greenway Bowling in Odenton, George M. Ruddy Co., ASI, and Stoner Salvage. He belonged to the American Legion and Glen Burnie Moose Lodge.
