Todd Sawyer Russell, age 55, of Niceville, FL passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2013. He was born February 8, 1958 to LTC (Ret) Tom Sawyer Russell and Alice Marie Russell in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Todd was a graduate of Lansing High School and Bemidji State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years. Todd built his career as the owner of Russell Painting in Niceville, FL.
Todd was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting, turkey hunting, fishing, and golfing. Throughout his life, Todd excelled at many sports including basketball, baseball, and football.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, LTC (Ret) Tom Sawyer Russell in 2010. Todd is survived by his loving wife, Meg Russell of Niceville, FL; daughter, Lindsey Batchelor of Destin, FL; mother, Alice Marie Russell of Sebring, FL; brother, Terry Russell of Winter Haven, FL; sister-in-law, Gina Russell of Winter Haven, FL; nephew, Zachry Russell of Kansas City, KS; niece, Whitney Russell of Kansas City, KS; nephew, Luke Russell of Leavenworth, KS; Gerald and Ann McCallister of Midland City, AL; Dave and Cindi Pittman of Midland City, AL; Karen Smith of Ozark, AL; Shane and April Busby of Ponce de Leon, FL; 5 nephews, 2 nieces and best friend, Scott Harris of Niceville, FL.
