Todd Alan Smith, 51, of Clarksburg went home to be with the Lord and met by his daughter, Leonda on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
He was born January 28, 1965 in Clarksburg; son of Ernest C. and Shirley A. Knight Smith.
In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by his wife, Jennifer M. Smith; two children, Jana E. and Aaron Green of Bridgeport, Brandon M. Smith, Clarksburg; two sisters, Michelle L. and Leon Wyatt, Clarksburg, Lydia M. and Jeremy E. Simons, Mt. Juliet, TN; three grandchildren, Scarlett L. Green, Amelia A. Green, Corbin R. Green; one brother, Shawn Wnek, Scottsdale, AZ ; and mother of Jana and Leonda, Rose E Wilkinson, Clarksburg; nieces and nephews, Erica M. Allman, Dustin J. Allman, Amber D. Cross, Ashley N. Edgell, Charlie C. Glover, Keeann P. Glover, Emery A. Smith, Maximus A. Smith, Cooper J. Smith, and Paige Wnek; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leonda R. Smith; his paternal grandparents, Lanie and Ernest Smith, maternal grandparents, Virginia and Jules Jaumot.
Todd graduated from South Harrison High School Class of 1983. He was in the United States Army Reserves 459th Engineer Company. He had worked as a correctional officer/counselor at Salem Industrial Home for Youth. He was a truck driver for several years working for multiple companies.
