Toby Allen, age 41, of Rensselaer passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1974, in Connersville, Indiana, the son of Marcia Jane (Wilson) Eggers and the late Stephen Marc Allen. Toby graduated from Valparaiso High School with the Class of 1992. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts. He was currently employed as a welder at Stark Truss in Rensselaer. Toby was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. On June 7, 2013, in Rensselaer, Toby married Shawna Settle who survives.
Surviving with his loving wife Shawna are two sons, Stephen Marc Allen and Jarrett William Allen and two step-sons Elijah Kane Brinkley and Reeze Maxwell Brinkley, all at home; his mother, Marcia Eggers, two grandmothers, Betty Jo Wilson and Donna Richardson, both of Connersville, Indiana and two nephews, Dylan Michael Allen and Drayke Edward Allen.
Toby was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Allen, his brother, Brandon Michael Allen, and two grandfathers, Glen Edward Wilson and Joe Allen.
