T.J. Lockwood, 34, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. T.J. was born May 3, 1984 in Centralia, son of Kristi (Day) Blankenship and Ty Lockwood.
He is survived by his parents: Kristi Blankenship and husband Dennis of Centralia and Ty Lockwood and wife Christy of Centralia; three siblings: Braydon Lockwood and fiance Rachel, Lyndee Lockwood and Mat, all of Centralia and Kaylee Gordon and husband Johnmark of Sesser; two nieces and a nephew: Leighton, Remee and Ryker; grandparents: Robert Day and wife Carolyn, Richard Kerins and wife Billie, and Bill Finley and wife Linda; his great-grandmother: Rosie Timmons; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends: Ted Clark and wife Heather and their two sons: Lucas and Owen. T.J. was preceded in death by his sister: Bethany Nollman, two grandpa’s: James R. Lockwood and Paul Morgan, Jr., great-grandparents: Teen Barrow and wife Lois, and family friend: Phil Lusch. In T.J’s younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball.
He even threw the first pitch, when the Centralia Rotary Fields were newly constructed. T.J. graduated from Centralia High School in 2002. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. T.J. was very obsessed with Disc Golf. He and his buddies would play Disc Golf at Foundation Park all of the time. T.J. was always easy going, full of laughter and was the go to guy about everything. He loved his family, spending time with his niece, Leighton, and hanging out with the guys.
