Tina Sparrow Christison, 52, of rural Jacksonville, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at her home. She was born April 7, 1963, in Jacksonville, the daughter of John C. and Eileen Devarose Sparrow.
She is survived by her mother of Jacksonville; her three children, Jeremy Marquard of Virginia, Amanda Christison (fiancé Jason Pittman) of Winchester, and Victor Davis (companion Erica Huntington) of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Brandon Miley, Cadee Million, Wesley Marquard, and Trevor and Baylee White; three sisters, Debra (husband Michael) Moffett of Springfield, Ava Sparrow of Jacksonville, and Joanna (husband Jim) Robbins of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Johnny Sparrow; and longtime companion, David McFadden.
Ms. Christison had worked at Passavant Area Hospital for many years. She was affectionately known by her family as the “Crazy Cat Lady,” and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She enjoyed watching her son Victor Lee compete in Demo Derbies.
Tina loved spending time with her family, and especially loved having her grandchildren with her.
