She was born July 16, 1968, in Goshen to Thomas E. “Tom” and Margie E. (Green) Taber. She married Troy A. Sommers on June 3, 1989, in Elkhart.
He survives, along with one son, Cameron A. Sommers, at home; two daughters, Lauren A. and Nicole A. Sommers, both at home; three sisters, Tonia M. (Wayne) Kohout of Granger, Temera E. DeFronzo of Elkhart and Lisa D. (Timothy) Davis of Attica, Ind.; her parents, Tom and Margie of Elkhart; and her grandmother, Bertha Taber of Elkhart.
