Benson, Timothy William died in Lafayette, Colorado on June 29, 2017 at the age of 63. He was born and raised in Topeka, KS. He left the city upon joining the U.S. Air force. He would eventually become a Senior level computer programmer.
He was an expert, self-taught guitarist and collector of all things guitar. If he wasn’t doing that he was having fun panning for gold up in the mountains.
He was preceded in death by Joseph and Lillian Carlson Benson, as well as his older brother Joseph Benson Jr. and sister Michelle Benson Massey.
He is survived by his wife and children and grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters and one brother.
