The earthly life of Timothy Tobias Reese, 46, of Moreland was completed on Sunday, January 21, 2018 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Toby, as he was known to many, was born August 9, 1971 at DeKalb General Hospital to Charles Larkin Reese and the late Shirley Jean Young Reese. He was the middle child of three. He was predeceased by his birth mother, Shirley Jean Reese and his son, Charles Robert Reese.
Surviving him are his children, Zachery Forrest Reese and Bryan Austin Reese. Toby is also survived by his loving parents Charles Larkin Reese and Claudette Reese of Moreland, his brother, Christopher Steven Reese and his wife Angela of Newnan, and a sister, Tamara Stephanie Denney and her husband Bush of Sharpsburg. Prominent in his life were his nephews, John Westley Denney, Austin Denney, Brannen Pidgeon, and Christopher Reese and one niece, Kailyn Denney.
Timothy will forever be remembered as a loving father, a cherished son, a loyal brother and a great uncle. Toby was an avid lover of Ford Mustangs and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved the power and torque of these iconic machines and made a life career working and tinkering on them. It declares in the Bible, in Matthew, that “all who are tired and heavy burdened should take rest and come to be with God in heaven”. May his soul now rest easy and unburdened. Psalms 51:12 reveals “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
