Timothy “Tim” Arthur Heaton, of Palestine, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, the 11th day of October 2021, with his wife by his side, along with their cherished pets, Einstein, Beau, BB, and Lucy.  Tim was born in Jacksonville, Texas, on the 10th day of May 1974, to parents Fred Ware Heaton, Jr. and Caron Murdock Fraser.

Tim was a graduate of Palestine High School and a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed tinkering and rebuilding all kinds of mechanical devices. His love of family and all living creatures were very important to him. Tim also had a love for fishing, gardening, being in the outdoors, and observing the beauty of nature. He loved watching the birds and deer as they would come out of the woods and come up close to his home.

Tim gave of himself freely to anyone in need. Tim was a person who never wanted praise or recognition for his deeds, instead he preferred to help others anonymously.  Tim, along with his wife Elaine, were devoted supporters of the BARC program in Anderson County.  On weekends, he enjoyed watching college football, especially his favorite team Texas Tech.  Tim was dearly loved by his family and friends, and they will miss him tremendously.

Left to cherish the memories of Tim are his wife, Elaine Mitchell Heaton; mother, Caron Fraser and husband Bill of Palestine, Texas; stepson, Robert Tanner Williams of Austin, Texas; brothers, Fred “Trey” Ware Heaton, III and wife Renee of Sunnyvale, Texas, and Chris Heaton of San Antonio, Texas.  Tim also leaves behind numerous other family members and a multitude of friends.  Tim’s dad, Fred Heaton, Jr. preceded Tim in death in July 1995.
