Mr. Bennett worked at Dana Corporation in Marion for the last seventeen years up to his death.
He and his wife have a 1955 Chevy which they enjoyed taking to the Duck Tail Run and the James Dean Festival.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Cora Jenkins Bennett; his son, Daryl Bennett of Gaston; his daughter, Kimberly Bennett of Muncie; his brother, Kenneth “Charles”, (wife, Ida Mae), Mann, of Muncie; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
