Timothy Micheal Copeland, age 68, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born in LaGrange, GA on December 14, 1949 to the late Charles Sims Copeland, Jr. and Billie Holbrook Copeland. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Joan Copeland. Mike proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy from 1970 until 1980. During his career in the military Mike earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation and National Defense Service Medal.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Godfrey Copeland; children, Julie Joiner and her husband Chris, Shane Copeland and his wife Micah, Jodie Copeland; niece, Niki Wilson and her husband David; grandchildren, Rosemerrie Joiner, Andrew Joiner, Anthony Joiner and great niece Jillian Wilson.
