He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Cantrell; his parents, Charlie B. and Sarah Ann Thomas; brother, David Cantrell; and sister, Elizabeth Welchel.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Thomas, Braselton, GA; grandson, Carter Thomas, Braselton, GA; father, Charlie “Sweeney” (Linda) Thomas, Buford, GA; sisters, Joan Green, Anna Smith, Allyson (Lonnie) Bailey; brothers, John Calvin (Dottie) Earls, Morris Sherman, Michael (Jackie) Cantrell, Ritchie Thomas, Mickey Thomas, and Victor Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Thomas was born on August 18, 1958 in Buford, GA.
He was a 1977 graduate of Buford High School, and he was employed by Foote and Davies for many years.
