Timothy Leandre Glasper, 50, departed this earthly life February 22, 2021. He was born February 1, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN to N.H. and Pauline Glasper.
Timothy completed his education in 1989 at Ben Davis High School.
Timothy was a man of faith! He loved the Lord and accepted him into his life at a very early age. Timothy has attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Crossroads Bible College. He has worked in ministry under several ministries and was the founder of Loving’em to Life ministries. This ministry was his hearts passion as it was targeted toward troubled youth, his mission was to mentor children, keeping them out of the prison system and offering job training. Timothy loved his community and was an activist against violence in this city as he was sorrowed by the increasing violence against our young people.
On October 19, 2018, Timothy was united in Holy Matrimony to his best friend and soulmate Niko Hannah, MSN, RN, CPC, after 5 years together. They worked in ministry together, prayed together, played together, and slayed together until death did part.
Timothy was a complex but simple, wise but humble, person that people thought they knew but really had no clue. Had a heart of Gold but he was that one that you did not want to cross regarding his family! A hard working, forever learner, the Activist, the Intercessor, patient, kind, misunderstood, broken, wounded, just trying to put pieces back together that were often self-broken.
Timothy was preceded in death by parents: N.H and Pauline Glasper; siblings: David Glasper, Darlene Nichols, Linnell Glasper, and Mark Glasper.
Timothy is survived by his Wife: Niko,; Sons: Antonio, Deandre, Timothy, and Dorian; Daughters: Ladria, Raquita, Joy and Timyae; Brothers: Jeffery (Tiffany), Larry, Matthew (Angie), Aaron, Nathaniel “Snake”; Brother in law: Salih Abdul-Aziz; Special family members: Paulette Nichols, Tommy Nichols, Temika Nichols, Stevie Nichols, Christopher Gladney, Desmond Gladney, Tiara Hall, Anthony Douthit, and Tawanda Jackman.
Timothy had 18 wonderful grandchildren whom he loved dearly and a host of family and friends to honor his memory.
