Timothy I. Haurez, 24, of Buck Creek, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born June 12, 1993, in Lafayette, to Glenn and Cynthia Duncan Haurez of Buck Creek.
Timothy was a senior at Anderson University and was majoring in Business and minor in Non-Profit Management. He was “Rodney Raven” the school mascot for a year.
He was a member and Chaplain of Avanti Boosters. Timothy enjoyed video games, comic books, sports, playing his bass and singing. Tim was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church in Anderson and played bass on the Praise and Worship Team.
Timothy was a camp counselor at SonRise Camps and Retreats for 2 years where he mentored individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Surviving with his parents are siblings Philip J. (Jamie) Haurez of Columbus, Steven M. (Danielle) Haurez of Greenfield, Sara M. Haurez of Austin, TX, Justin L. Haurez of Buck Creek, and Lydia J. Haurez of Noblesville. Also surviving are his grandparents Jack and Evelyn Haurez of Lake Placid, Fl and his niece Abigail Haurez.
